The Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn
London 1813: The Bridgertons, a wealthy and influential family, notable for the eight (8!), alphabetically named children. The oldest, Anthony, Viscount Bridgerton is head of the family, but it is Violet, the dowager Viscountess who really rules the roost with gentle humour and firm opinions. They have arrived in Town in time for the season, and one thing is for sure: when the Bridgertons arrive, shenanigans are sure to ensue.
