Welcome to Season Three of What Would Danbury Do... All Bridgerton. All the time. In Season One, Rudi, Adele, and Kate took you through the original eight, the O.G. alphabetically named siblings, the Bridgertons from Anthony to Hyacinth. In Season Two, we worked through the Happily Ever After Second Epilogues. Originally, these second epilogues were published separately, but it turns out that these epilogues are now included in the original novels, so if you’ve come to the Bridgertons later, this might have been confusing! These episodes are available via our website, www.bridgertonpod.com or wherever you get your podcasts, so you can catch up there!
This season, we take it from the page to the screen and swan dive into Bridgerton on Netflix. We’ll be breaking down the episodes, talking to experts, and opining wildly about everything from fashion to fornication.
Here are the books we talk about in this episode:
The Duke Heist by Erica Ridley
Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl (*note: we call this Hold Me Down in the episode)
Shadowfae by Erica Hayes
Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale
Moby Dick by Herman Melville
The Reluctant Royals by Alyssa Cole
This episode is brought to you by Erica Ridley’s latest novel The Duke Heist, part of her Wild Wynchester series. You can find out more information on Erica’s website, ericaridley.com and listen to a sneak preview of the audiobook at the end of this episode. Meet the thoroughly forgettable Chloe Wynchester just as everything in her plans go horribly, horribly awry (the best kind of introduction!).
Don’t forget you can find us on twitter and facebook @bridgertonpod and instagram @wwddpod and join the conversation using the hashtag #WWDDpod. You can also leave us a rating or review on your favourite podcast provider. Doing so guarantees that you become at least 15% more likely to marry a reformed rake.
This episode was recorded on the traditional and unceded land of the Gadigal, Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people and edited by Rudi Bremer on Gadigal country.
